I have been seeing Dr. Dan Franson for the past few years (circa 2009), and have had the pleasure of getting to know the Franson family and their amazing team. The office is a cohesive group that produces amazing work and makes you feel great about your choice in dental care.

Over the past few years, I have had exams, cleanings and (unfortunately) fillings, and can't express the awkward feelings of delight that arise when I'm getting ready for my dentist appointment. We're supposed to loathe going to the dentist, right? Well- the Fransons (and team) make going to the dentist more personal and all the more bearable- might I even dare to say enjoyable? Although I do still loathe the drill... (joke)

We started going to Franson Dental over a year ago and we cannot be more happy!! Absolutely LOVE THEM! They truly go out of their way to make you comfortable and have a "family type" of atmosphere while being professional at the same time. This is the first time I have actually felt comfortable & confident in my dentist and the services that are being provided. I don't feel like they are having me come back for "extra" work to be done, but truly have "MINE" and "MY FAMILIES" best interest at heart. They understand our financial situation and Lorie is phenomenal at making sure you have the correct information with no "surprise extra cost". I have transferred over my 3 children from their own dentist and they look forward to seeing Dr. Dan, his sister Julie and the assistant Shanon. I was nervous at first because its not the typical "Child Dentist" with all the bells & whistles like computer games, tv, & typical stuff to "attract" kids, but more of a family professional dentistry. MY KIDS LOVE IT HERE! We live about 40 minutes away and I still will go out of our way, sit an hour and traffic to continue to go here. Their equipment is up to date, office is very clean and I am so happy we finally found a dental office we love.

I have been going to Dr. Franson since 1990 and now his son has joined the practice. The entire family is there and they all have a role The staff are family too. They welcomed my partner as a patient and they have been nothing but caring and generous. Why go to a strip mall anonymous dentist when you can establish a relationship with a family.

I broke a tooth last week and needed to find a dentist. I searched the San Leandro area since I work there was able to be seen at Franson Family Dental over my lunch break. They told me what needed to be done and got me back into the office in a very timely manner. Dr. Dan was able to put a cap on my tooth and completely finish everything the same day! I had no idea this was possible. I remember getting a cap before and the dentist put a temporary cap on my tooth for a few weeks. Then I had to go in again and get the permanent one. Not the case here! They can do it all the same day! The office is very warm and friendly, highly recommended!

I went in to this beautifully decorated dental office and immediately felt as if I were at home. The doctors and staff are all so friendly. The office is very current as everything is computerized and they have low radiation digital x-rays. I needed dental work because my front tooth broke at the gum line. Everyone was able to attend to my needs immediately and before I left I had a new tooth! No temporary or anything, a brand new crown that matched perfectly with my other teeth. I am so happy with the work that the Franson's did and I would recommend anyone and everyone to go to there office for all of their dental needs!

My family has been going to the Franson family for around a decade for all of our dental work, and they are simply wonderful. Beyond being a really nice family, they are all very caring, gentle & knowledgable in regards to their work. I live 1/2 an hour away in Fremont, and still make the trip to see them rather than finding a dentist closer to my home. I have never had a bad experience with them in any facet of their business & would recommend them to anyone in the vicinity who needs some dental work.

My husband and I have been seen by Dr. Franson Jr. and his sister Julie a few times. We discovered them more than a year ago and I am very happy that I decided to give them a try. The receptionist, Lorie, is very nice and professional, caring and understanding. The facilities are clean and they use different technology to find out what your needs are. Dr. Franson and Julie are super nice, very professional, have always done a great job and walk you through everything that they need to get done. I HATED going to the dentist, but Franson Family Dental has made me change my mind of how terrible dentist appointments can be.
